Purchase College was a great experience especially if you don't fit the cookie cutter, white anglo-saxon protestant mold. Generally, the views held by most students are liberal. Purchase is known as an artsy school, having a large lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgendered population. The faculty at Purchase was exceptionally bright and talented (particularly in psychology and literature - those were my majors). If I had to do it all over again - I would at Purchase College. (Class of 1998)
