Elmira College is the defination of obcessive compulsive. They spend to much time trying to make their image to "outsiders" seems good and not enough time working on the quality of the education. They treat their staff and graduate students like crap and make them basically endentured servants. Also they will use to to their beneift. Ex: if you are about to do something or are certified in a specific skill that they cannot find someone to do for hire, they will pay you a crappy amount of money and demand way to much of you to do it. The campus is very nice, but the president is always on campus, isn't he supposed to be fund raising? He cannot give public speeches, if you are not into conforming to the Elmira College ways (silly songs, wearing beanies, selling your soul for the purple and gold) don't go there. The nursing program is very good however. I have heard good things about this program and the speech and hearing program, if you can put up with the OCD attitude of everyone there.
