Portland Community college is not a great four-year institution by any means, but it does offer some challenging corusework and helpful instructors. Almost all of my professors are available during their office hours, and most of them give out secondary contact information that you can use to get ahold of them in a pinch. My biggest gripe about this school is the attitude of the students, who mostly seem uninterested in their education, and boast some generally low quality traits. There is NO social life here. It is a commuter campus, so most of the people attend class then promptly leave so there is no one to really talk to.I will be transferring after just two terms here. I cannot stand the social scene(or lack of?) and the attitude of most of the students.
