One of the big problems here is food, which is awful to taste, overpriced and served by the friendly men and women of the local 11, who look like they would sooner see you choke on your panini than enjoy it. Parking is harder to come by than the lower east side at 11 pm on friday. Don't underestimate how much of a pain in the ass that can be.Objectively though, this is a great university with a top-notch faculty, gorgeous (if usually snow-covered) campus, and ample social/athletic opportunities. The Greeks, thanks to the efforts of the administration are slowly becoming less 'Old School' and more 'Old Folks Home,' so don't count on much there, but finding fun things to do and making lasting friendships is still easy enough, as long as there is a way.
On a side note, I've heard complaints here that Florida State this is not, but there many, and I mean many good looking girls who attend UR.
