WVU is a great school if you are looking for a big school with alot to do outside of acedemics. There are hundreds of clubs or orginizations to get involved in. There is HUGE school spirit which can be seen at any sporting event here esp. football!… The free student rec center is AMAZING if you like swimming, playing basketball, working out, excersizing, running on a track, playing ping pong, indoor rock climbing, or many other things… The night life is awsome, weather you drink or not party or just hang out there is something for you to do… the frats have parties, the clubs are great and there are alot of house parties… there are also many places for people to go hang out if you dont drink both at the clubs and at school funded orginazations like "wvu up all night" where students can go hang out in the "mountainlair" or student union on weekend nights and get free food, go bowling, watch movies in wvu's theater… and do many other things… as far as acedemics go, the faculty as far as i have noticed is great.. very into the students and the university, helpful, readily avialable during office hours, well educated in their fields, easy to understand, and just all around friendly. all in all WVU is a GREAT place for almost anyone to be.
