While
at times I question why I came to TCU (such
as on campus parking and amount of readings), there are
other times in which I am extrememly grateful that I
chose TCU (such as the time I was in Paris
and a woman from DFW approached me purely on the
basis of overhearing me mention TCU). Also TCU has
an amazing study abroad program. Due to TCU's enthusiasism
towards students having the opportunity to spend time abroad, I
am now among only 1% of college students/graduates to have
studied abroad. While there are a few bad moments
(like the first time to get a D on an
exam that counts for 1/3 of your grade) there are
many more moments that I will cherish forever (such as
going to London knowing nobody and coming home with 11
people who I would trust my life with or looking
out my window and seeing a group of TCU students
running an Easter egg hunt for children). While you
can have good memories at any University, at TCU you
will be part of a strong world-wide community that is
there for you forever.
