Major: Other (This Major's Salary over time)
When considering my academic future I wanted to make sure that the colelge i attended was very open to their students. I also wanted to know that the Proffessors didnt look at students as numbers but as names. I can happily say that I am on a first name basis with every professor i have had in my 2.5 years in attendance. The professor genuinely care about the students. But professors and students do not an institution make. One must also consider the administrative staff of the campus. Not only does our president live on campus but so do a number of other administrators. They live here not because they have to but because they love the campus and want to be near the student body. Beside their living on campus, admin., like professors refuse to know students by a number. They want to know students by their names often they actually want to know more than just a name but also how the student is feeling on that particular day. It is not unusual to hear an administrator ask a student in the hall how everything is going and if there is anything (s)he can do to make the day better.
