It's a community college, what else do you expect from it? I think as a junior college, VCC does everything it could in its limited budget to prepare students for later years in state universities.

Try to get into the Honors Program, you will have access to a very good education and excellent environment.

If there was one thing I could change about VCC, that would be tuition and scholarships for international students. It's so unfair while we, international students, have to pay 4 times higher than in-state students and get no money back regardless of our academic record. For this one reason, I would recommend bright international students to look at private schools instead. Other than that, VCC is an all-right CC.
