Stay as far away from Lee as you can. Sure the handbook might say no sex, alcohol, etc.. but that's pretty much what you get at Lee. The girls are whores and drunks and the guys…well pretty much the same. The campus is nice but I soon realized that the students at this school are not very well liked by town residents. In fact most dispise our student body. I can't think of any classes except for English that actually transferred. And you can completely get about anything in the arts. It's not here or in the entire town. I can't imagine if you're not a holy roller what there could possibly be to do in Cleveland. It has to be the most boring surroundings I've ever seen. I saw someone posted that they don't run your life. Well if you don't show up for church every Sunday morning you get demerits. Kinda like when you were 5 years old and in kindergarden. Once you get so many you're out. I could go on and on. Spare yourself and choose somewhere that will actually give you an education. Most graduates I know don't work in their field because their education was so lacking. Less bible classes and more liberal arts might save this train wreck of a college. If you want your kids to party down on your dime then this is the school for you. |
Major: Journalism (This Major's Salary over time)
I stumbled upon this website and felt it was my duty to throw a decenting view into the mix. Lee is not the school for Communications majors; there is very little in the way of actual preparation for a career. I realized this fact just after starting my junior year and checked into transferring to a school that had better placement. It turns out that the required theology classes I had taken (as well as several of the general ed. classes) would not transfer and I would have to start out at the new school as a first semester sophmore. I decided, in a rash of optimism, that I could make it work and should stay. If I had it to do over again, I would have left when I had the chance.
