SLCC is a great transfer school, because it is the only Community college within the Salt Lake Valley where your credits earned are transferrable to respected Utah schools. Ofcourse, since it has a monopoly, it is overcrowded and a lot of the classes are over sized with uncaring professors who are there to get a paycheck and grade the work you turn in (basically on a vanilla scale, like A if it's nice looking, C if it's done, and F if you don't turn it in). My experience at SLCC has been overall OK, but not good enough due to no real competition in the area for noncompetitive community colleges with transferrable credits.
