Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
UNK is an average school. It is characterized by some really great professors and some really horrific ones. There is really no middle ground. The city of Kearney leans more towards anti-college than for it, even though the city's prosperity rides on the college. The main thing that is the downfall of the University is the staggering displays of incompetence among the poorer faculty members and the arrogance of the administration. UNK grades on the plus/minus system, which puts students at a major disadvantage when applying to graduate school. However, UNK has a pretty good social life and it is easy to get involved. If a new student can find a group of friends early, it makes all the difference in the world.
