Date: Mar 04 2004 Major: Physics (This Major's Salary over time) Grove City College was a GREAT place to learn for four years. The style of education is quite pragmatic for a liberal arts college. All of the classes (even the philosophy classes) conveyed an underlying message of,
all of this learning is meaningless unless you DO something with it.
Because of that, I feel like Grove City prepared me for my future in an exceptionally practical way. The school boasts of its high academic standards, and they do so rightfully. Excellence is expected. Along with the obvious perks of a rigorous education come some drawbacks. I would say that the greatest of these drawbacks is that this school full of highly capable students breeds an environment in which activity, achievement, and involvement become a source of identity for students.
