Major: Philosophy (This Major's Salary over time)
A rare find…Susquehanna is one of those schools that not many people have heard of, however, if you run into someone who is familiar with it you'll only hear good comments - much better than the current ratings (namely, US News) indicate. SU's classification changed after 2000 - prior to then it was rated the #1 liberal arts school in the NE. During peak time (Sept/Oct-April/May) the campus is groomed to resort/country club standards. The only downfall is its location. While the actual town (Selinsgrove) is small, "the strip" (located 1 mile N of campus) is full of restaurants, shopping, movie theaters, and of course the college staple, WalMart. Point being: if you come up from the South don't be deceived/deterred by the town. Look at the growing "surrounding community."
