Pratt is not for everyone to say the least, it requires an open mind, a very good work ethic and sacrafice both of time, and sadly health. The work load can be at times grueling but the students for the most part do things whole heartedly because they came to Pratt for a specific reason, and if that means no sleep and little food…well. There is some really mind blowing work going on, and the staff is great and there is something around campus that sucks you in as a student and makes you wamt to be a part of what ever is going on. The run down buildings give the school character, unlike the monochrom, monotone, monolife neveau art schools popping up around the country.I suppose pratt is a school for a purist, and you can only get something out of pratt if you make something out of pratt.
