I am very impressed with Wayne State University, it is a great school for the money; and a great school period. Although a little large, and having an administration that is very bureaucratic at times, WSU has outstanding faculty and the campus life is growing very rapidly. The location is great with a large variety of things to do at low cost. Detroit is really a relatively safe fun place, if you give it a chance. The diversity is great and it is achieved through fair admission policies (the location helps to accomplish this). Overall, I am very pleased with my decision to attend WSU. With benefits like free tickets to all sporting events such as our DI hockey program that has gone to the NCAA tournament, many free student activities, a multitude of student groups, and concerts free of charge this university is great. Also, WSU is a Carnegie I research university, and many undergraduates can get involved in cutting edge research.
