Oberlin College is a pretty bad school, that is why i am transfering out. I has nothing to offer the general public. This is a school for a small precentage of freaks and geeks. Firstly you will do fine here as a homosexual, a hipser, or a hippie. There are all kinds of drugs here from shady hippie dealers that preach against capitalism, but have high prices. Lots of homosexuals, which isnt bad in itself, but they seem to hate on heterosexuals as if they are evil. Everyone is either snobby because they came from an East coast prep school, or a dirty dirty hippie. The classes are small, and that isnt my thing, but objectively they are just rich kids in a circle talking about how libral they are. Though the falculty will essentially be your friend (we can even get a free beer with them on thursday afternoons) so if you are looking for that, it can happen. Socially the school is dead. No one dates, and no one attends parties. There are weekly parties, which range from terrible to decent. The girls here are terrible looking. They do not maintain themselves in anyway. No make up, no shaving, no hot clothing…and most of them are ugly to begin with anyway. Its a great school for nerds who got beat up in high school and want to make a friend for the first time. There are better school academically and socially than oberlin.
