Kirkwood is an awsome school for cheap. People are generally nice people and are willing to help. Tons of drinking and drop out rate is high. Commonly called keg-wood but success is achievable. Just put down the beer once and awhile……….. Facilities are university caliber and PhD's are numerous as instructors. How ever there is no research and starting new clubs is hard sh@t. DEFINITLY consider the department you are getting into. Some are great (like engineering) but i have heard horror stories of others. For a community college tons of courses and campus living rules. The students are very a diverse crowd attracted from all around the world (WORLD yes). Has won best commmunity college in the nation recently and is always in the top five. If you are going to transfer to a four year school fear not someone somewhere WILL want you after Kirkwood.
