My experience at Auburn was excellent. The students and, for the most part, faculty were friendly and easy to get along with. I could always find a pickup game of football or basketball. The girls were indeed the most beautiful the world has to offer. In fact, that's where I met my wife.I was only a mediocre student due to my inability to concentrate (diagnosed with ADD as an adult). The opportunity was there; I just missed it. I was very immature at the time. Advice to current or future students would include: 1)stay one or two weeks ahead in your reading for classes; 2)if you need help from a professor, be a thorn in their side until you get the help you need; 3)identify the better students in your classes immediately (hint: they usually sit in the front); 4)enjoy yourself.I would add that there are a number of good churches in the area. The one my wife and I attended was Lakeview Baptist Church. Their Pastor is an excellent preacher of the Word. Their Minister of Students is a gifted and caring man, a good example for all.
