Point Park University definitely is not for everyone. It's a amazing school if you're a performing arts major, but if you're not you're kind of screwed. If you're interested in going to this school and you're an academic major just keep in mind that the school really isn't going to care too much about you, other than the fact that you'll be giving them more money to dump into their dance program. Also if your a science major you're really gonna get bent over because the labs in the school are older than dirt, plus you probably won't have enough lab equipment to go around (I was in a bio class that only had one working microscope). The other problem is that most of the classes at this school are beyond easy, it actually takes work to fail a class here. Basically if you pay your tuition and show up you're guaranteed a passing grade. Oh and most of the classes you take here aren't going to transfer out. On the upside most of the professors here are very nice and more than willing to talk and help you out with any problems you have. So overall if you're a performing arts major beat the door down to get in, but if you're interested in academics/science stay far away from this place.
