Major: Education (This Major's Salary over time)
I am a double major, Psychology and Elementary Education. I have enjoyed the faculty of both departments, and found my classes to be insightful and enjoyable. William and Mary is a college where you have to work really hard for good grades! B's are somewhat easy to come by if you put in long hours and work decently hard enough, but if you want A's, your best bet is to take up residence in Swem Library. Grade inflation does NOT exist here!I love the feel of the school—all you have to do is take a tour of the campus and you'll see how beautiful it is - I feel so lucky to live on such a gorgeous campus! The social atmosphere is what you choose to make of it. Colonial Williamsburg is not a "college town" but it has a lot of fun things to offer (unfortunately most places close at 10pm). On-campus socialization is your best bet for good times - so be proactive in finding your niche! There are 189 student organizations - we mean it when we say there's something for everyone. My biggest complaint is the athletics…as a huge sports fan, I'm disappointed with the lack of sporting events worth watching. However, I've been so happy here that the lack of sports doesn't matter. I have made so many great friends and tons of fun memories! TRIBE PRIDE all the way!
