I attended the UoP Dallas Campus, which is stil a fairly new campus. It opened its doors in mid 2001, which is when I started. The educational experience was wonderful. I learned a lot, and have already applied many of the things I have learned to my professional life. The teaching staff is outstanding (would not have traded my facilitators for the world!). My problem came with the administrative side of the "going to school". I had 8 or 9 different academic advisors during my two and half years of attendance. My calls were not always returned. My credits were not applied correctly, and even as I have finished and am waiting for graduation in Sept, I am still having to wrestle with the University about getting my credits applied correctly. I have been asking for my degree completion summary for about a month now.I really enjoyed my classes, meeting new people and making new friends (students and instructors alike) and feel that my time spent completing my degree was valuable. I just think that the Dallas Campus of the University of Phoenix, needs to be overhauled.
