Date: Jun 15 2004 Major: Psychology (This Major's Salary over time) Overall I had a good college experience at FPC. It was half the size in the 1970s that it is now. Back then there were no learning centers where you could get extra help so I was pretty much left to fend for myself academically ,and I had some challenging classes. Bill Jack was a wonderful, caring and supportive professor and was partly why I majored in Psychology. Some professors were horrible!FPC was a major party school, and it was a very isolated campus, but at the same time being from NYC,I loved being in the country. I thought it was the safest place to be. I could walk alone any time of day or night and not worry. There were no walmarts etc back then. By the time I left FPC I had learned, on my own, how to study, write papers and I had the opportunity to become a leader because it was such a small school. If I could go back to freshman and sophmore years I would have studied more and partied less. I would recommended to other H.S. students and current FPC students to break out of their cliques and get to know people of other cultures, races and be supportive of each other.
