Rollins College is what you make of it. I took coursework in the sciences, sociology, philosophy and religion - the faculty in all these departments is absolutely wonderful. You can go to Rollins, focus on school, and get a top-notch education. The campus is breathtakingly beautiful, and the town of Winter Park is great. The social scene is fueled by alcohol and drugs - frat's are rather dominant. It is possible, though, to have a good time without them. If you're not into partying, move off campus as soon as possible. A negative point is that there are a lot of super preppy cocaine-snorting northern kids. All in all, though, Rollins is a great place to spend the college years if you are someone that can carve your own niche.
