What are these rules of the dorm that you obviously don't like? How are the dorms? I have been told they are really old—are they in disrepair or inconvenient? How far are they from the classrooms? |

I just finnished my first year at Marymount and I had a lot of fun. The academics were mixed; I was very challenged in some classes and not at all in some others. Overall there is a pretty good mix and a fair amount of homework. The student life is pretty cool as long as you're not there for sports. There are no sports teams. But, then again the school is a performing arts school, baisically. There are a lot of really cool clubs though, especially Poptards 101. They are hilarious. The social life is pretty cool, considering the dorms are in the middle of NYC. There are no frats, but there are comedy clubs, dance clubs, tons of bars, etc. to make up for it. It's also pretty common to interact with other schools like NYU and Columbia. The dorm life is decent, but there are rules. Overall, I love Marymount, and definetly chose the right school for me.
