Colorado State is looked down upon being in the same state as CU. However, CSU is a very well respected school. As a Carnegie Doctoral/Research University, emphasis is put more towards research, thus more GTA's teaching. Every college is going to have its fair share of horrid professors and CSU is no exception but there are many more professors who are willing to help and answer questions outside of class time. My experience as a Ram has helped me attain a good starting career as well as enhancing my personal well-being. I wouldn't change my experience at CSU for the world and would gladly recommend this school to anyone in search of a friendly campus, an excellent education, and willingness to learn.
