Major: History/Histories (art history/etc.) (This Major's Salary over time)
Wells provides the atmosphere where its students can truly grow and learn, it does not merely turn out mindless drones which recycle information. Students are encouraged to do individual, original research and try new things. The liberal arts education is truly embraced. Faculty make an effort to make each student's experience at Wells one that is unique to that student. They do not merely reuse course material each semester, but tailor the course to each individual class. Students are not just a number, but known to faculty, staff, and administration by name. Strong community and personal interaction are two descriptions which perfectly illustrate Wells, and I might add set Wells apart from most other institutions.
