Major: Sociology (This Major's Salary over time)
I absolutely love Washington College. Before coming to this school I became very nervous after recieving shocked faces after telling people the size of WAC. However, as soon as I steped on campus I knew that this would grow to be a home for the next four years for me. For some people going to a large school is what they need. For me, Washington College's 1200 students was what I needed. The quick walk to classes, the ability to pass by friends numerous times a day, how the dining hall feels like a family dinner when sitting down at the long tables with friends, the events at the student center, the friendly faculty who are all so willing to help, are all only a small fraction of the reasons for why I love this school so much. In my two short years at Washington College I have earned the skills needed for working in groups, balancing multiple activities with my courses, and for allowing my knowledge to grow in various directions & perspectives.
