Stonehill provided a wonderful learning community for me. Due to my strong background in English, I was hired as a teacher almost immediately after graduation. Stonehill's reputation is well-known throughout New England. I suppose if I applied to jobs elsewhere, the Stonehill name would not be as recognizable.

I credit a lot of my success at Stonehill to my professors. They make themselves overly avilable to students and they want their students to succeed. If you work hard and are willing to learn, you will have wonderful learning opportunities.

I have many strong friendships from this community. And although the social life was a bit slow at times, you have to take it in stride… Stonehill is not located in close enough proximity to any college-friendly city (even though Boston is close, it can be a project to go into the city). So, you learn to make your own fun.

I also recommend that all students consider studying abroad. Stonehill is open and encourages students to study abroad. It's a great experience, and the college will help to make sure that all of your abroad credits transfer over into proper Stonehill requirements/electives.

I am proud to be a graduate of Stonehill.
