Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
Ramapo College can be great if you are just focusing on your grades and getting recognition from the professors. Otherwise, this school is definitely not for you. Ramapo College has two strong majors - psychology and business. These two programs are actually awesome; everyone seems to be getting the education. But don't come to this college for sciences, communication, history, or anything else. I personally am disappointed with the biology and physics program. First, they are only offering seven physics classes next semester. There is no depth, but just regular core classes. There are NO research opportunities or grants, so you don't get to experience the real world. Biology faculty and resources are totally ridiculous. The professors does not teach anything, and it was really painful to go through the whole year of learning nothing. 70% end up dropping this major for another not because it's hard, but because they didn't learn anything and they are afraid what the 200 300 courses are going to test these students. The faculty are approachable, and some are really good. But, it does remind me a lot of high school days. There are so many favorites and those who don't even care about college. If you are very involved in school, don't come here. They are trying to get rid of clubs whilemost of the other schools support having new creative clubs. We only have 60 clubs to begin with, and they are trying to cut it down. I find that very absurd. Overall, I wouldnt recommend this school because of the administration. Registrar's, bursar's, residence life, student activities are all horrible. for a small school, you expect no problems with scheduling or paying bills, but that's not true. You always have to check your account because they might be taking your money (like they did 4 times this year…)
