I worked in Student Affairs at CU for 13 years and find it to be a very unsafe and negative atmosphere. Students are obsessed with partying ( CU has some of the highest drug use per/student in the nation). Students come second to the pursuit of Research Grants and the antics of the inept/good'old boy Football Coach and Team. Most students are wealthy hippy wannabes and very unmotivated to do much more than ski and get drunk/stoned.

I would not recommend this school to any of my relatives especially women, many assaults/rapes.

The one positive is the beautiful old buildings in the old part of campus off the Norlin Quad.
