I found Pitt State to be an incredible help in my life. It taught me the value of friendships and networking as much as anything I learned in class, and due to the close-knit nature of my department, I don't believe I'd have received the same thing from any other school. High school grads should look at the advantages a smaller school like PSU offers, with smaller class sizes, a better chance to be more involved in the school, etc. Yes, you'll hear complaints about things not working quite right. That happens in life. You learn to deal with it and stop whining, which is also a part of the education process. I wouldn't trade my years at Pitt for anything.
