Major: Computer Science (This Major's Salary over time)
This is definitely not a social college. If you're looking for partying, this is the wrong place. The education is good and the faculty helpful and down-to-earth, but the students are unapproachable. It might be ethnically diverse, but unfortunately the ethnicities don't interact much. Also, many students work, so when a class is over, everyone rushes out to take care of personal matters. Accounting and Biology appear to be the most popular majors, but sadly, the "hard sciences" departments (computer science, math, physics)aren't given much attention, and the students of those majors are perceived as weirdos. In my case, whenever I tell someone that I'm computer science, more often than not I get funny stares or a comment like "I heard there's not many jobs in that field."Theres an incredible view of the Manhattan skyline from the library. And good news for the guys, though: there's a high female to male ratio.
