So far I've been disappointed in the faculty at the J-school. Their concerns are almost exclusively on funding, with politics between each other a close second and students absolute last with the exception of two professor I can name off-hand and I know almost all of them.

If they spent as much energy on motivating the students as they do on getting grants, it'd be an excellent school. Also, no one seems to know where exactly this grant money goes and I don't think it goes back into academics.
