Major: Design Arts - Industrial Design/Graphic Design/etc (This Major's Salary over time)
I would not be in the position I am in without going to school. The instructors help with basic knowledge in my future profession and the co-op program filled in the rest.I went to school with people that already had a four or six year degree, but they had trouble finding a job without experience. I put some blam on the schools and the rest on the students for making poor choices in majors or the particular schools. You must also be willing to work your way up, things will not be handed to you. Understand the money will come with time, experience and knowledge of your field, beyond your small corner of it.Ask questions, be on time, don't think you know it all, and show respect to others. Is higher educationfor everyone? No! But you better have a plan in place if you don't plan on going. The military, manual labor are good choices for the right people, but I recommend whatching trends so you make a good choice. Is higher education perfect? No way! But it helps lay your foundation for the future.
