Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time)
Etown is a great place to study if you are not an out-going type of person. The campus is in Elizabethtown, where you can only find a hotel, a church, barber, pizza places so generally speaking it's a (very) small town, the nearest bar is 10 mins by driving. So it means if you would like to do sg else than staying on campus you definately need a car. Professors at the Political Science Dep. are streching you, giving you lot of assignments and they really welcome different views that of their own. Campus is nice, during the week you have to study a lot, on weekends you can go to one of those parties in one's dorm/apartment room, friendly people, lots of fun, if you are a laid back person who loves to chill, watch Shrek 2 on a laptop, drink a couple of beers this could sound perfect for you. There are some 80 international students, and their community (and the whole college) is fascinating. My experience was that professors are paying specific attention to you, you are not like a product in a huge factory (cf. state univs). Lancester and Harrisburg is in 20 mins and there's a lot to do if you are not satisfied with the the social life on campus. Because of the near Hershey Foods factory (M&M), the campus often smells like chocolate…
