The academics here are superb. The professors all know their stuff and are really passionate about teaching to the students. Given that, everything here sucks. There are some professors who are racist and you can notice it in their rhetoric towards minorities. This one professor (Biology department) always breaks down this one girl's (who just so happens to be African) answer and analyze it, saying how bad of a answer it is. The students here are all the same WASP. Some don't even give you the light of day and are on their high horse. It's very elitist and minorities feel bad/secluded here. There are hardly any good race relations here. Most minorities want to transfer, yet can't because this college hooks them with a good financial aid package, making it difficult for them to leave. If it wasn't for that, many would have transferred a long time. There are some who work at the library who are racist.

Clinton, NY sucks and the weekends here blow. Everyone gets drunks and that's all you can do if you want to have fun here. Life consists of a routine here and everything is so predictable. I strongly advice to stay away from here. Like someone one said, "There is always a gray cloud over Hamilton College." Don't make the mistake I made.
