Our university is good because of its location. Pittsburgh, while it might not be the biggest and best city in America, it gives you a city atmosphere without all of the overwhelming-ness that it can also have. Duquesne certainly takes advantage of what the city has to offer, and students are constantly interacting with professionals from the city in the area of their study. One thing that makes it bad is that sometimes the campus can feel small. The actual campus of the school is not very big, and while that can be a good thing (it takes about 5 - 10 minutes to walk from one side to the other) it can mean that you run into people you know constantly. The students at Duquesne tend to study hard (even though procrastination is popular among a lot of students) but party just as hard. Because of our small campus and location, a lot of students go to University of Pittsburgh or Carnegine Mellon Unviersity to go party. It takes a short bus ride to get there, and you can almost always rest assured you'll know people on the bus with you, so sometimes the ride to the party can be just as fun.
