The work in this school is surprisingly challenging; I expected an easy ride before I entered the work force, but I was mistaken. If you come to this school thinking, it's easy, you're wrong. If you think you won't get a lot of work, you're wrong. If you think this school has nothing to offer you, you're wrong.

One thing I've noticed is that even though you get a lot of difficult work, it's not impossible. If you procrastinated and slacked off in high school, and did just enough work to get by, that behavior won't cut it in this school. Trust me, I was, and still am, one of those guys.

Another important point: make friends. It sounds obvious enough, but you can't imagine how bearable class is if you know a few people. The students are very friendly, but generally won't approach you since everyone has their own work to do. Set out to make at least two friends (it's not impossible; everyone's nice) in each class, and you're good to go.

One last note: make sure you remember the names of your professors. Head over to a teacher rating site like ratemyprofessors.com, and read the reviews, cause they are dead-on. If you get a bad egg, transfer ASAP.

If you're a workaholic, get that stick outta your ass. Remember to relax a little and still have fun.
