I am enjoying this university, being from Portland and loving the northwest. It does have a very accessible faculty, a pretty campus and a wide range of liberal arts majors. But the dorms are DUNGEONS. You can tell from their maintainance that the university housing department isn't very concerned with anything other than providing four walls and some fixtures. If they invested more money in decent housing, it would be a well-made investment. And the social scene is a good place for those who are extroverted, but not very good if one is a non-drinker or not into drugs. Parties for Freshmen are available every night, and the nightlife is almost entirely party driven. If you're looking for a studious atmosohere, there are better places to go. In all though, this is a very positive place to be, with open, accepting people. They could just use a few more choices of social gatherings.
