The good points about this university: if you're an outgoing person, or like going to bars, then you'll easily fit in here. The bad points: the school is not challenging. Perhaps when you get into junior or senior level classes they might be more serious, but other than that.. freshman and sophomore classes are a joke, and so are some of the students admitted into this university. I agree that most people here regard their academics as second simply because they can. The classes are generally not challenging (that doesn't apply to all classes) and certainly the "average" or even "below average" student can easily get along here. If you're looking for a normal white-collar job, then the school is fine, it's for the most part completely traditional even in areas like Art which shouldn't be. If you consider yourself even slightly above average and don't want a free ride, by all means don't go here.
