Outstanding experience. Students are all intelligent but mostly not intimidatingly brilliant. Regardless of whether your ACT score is 28 or 36, you WILL challenge yourself here.

You will also have a good time. For those who think there is nothing to do socially, you have to ask: There are 1400 people my same age (roughly) within a square mile of me; how can I NOT have something to do?

You will find a diverse student body—particularly socioeconomically—that is friendly, helpful, and down-to-earth. The same adjectives describe the faculty.

Grinnell is a very unique place, and it will continue to grow in quality and reputation as the endowment is put to work. Grinnell's newest class is its most brilliant ever, and that will be a trend.
