Major: Social Work (This Major's Salary over time)
I transferred to SMC from Bryn Mawr, and it's been a very positive experience overall. Having come from an all women's college, it was easy to get accustomed to the classroom setting here. I love the fact that ND is right across the street…there's a lot more going on there because of its size. SMC has lectures/movies/etc too, but it's just on a smaller scale. It's nice to have access to a large research university, while living on a small campus. You get the best of both worlds. I really like the community feel of campus; you feel comfortable here. Classwork isn't that hard for me, but I've been doing very challenging work for several years now, so maybe I'm justless intimidated. The social work deparment here is AMAZING!! Seriously check it out. Dr. K is one of the nicest people you will ever meet.
