The U of M is the U of M. It's not great yet it's not bad. If you want a mediocre experience then this is it. The school is too big with no spirit and average profs. The city is fantastic though and there are many options for students on and off campus. If you're from this neck of the woods I would tell you to go to Madison before here but the U of M comes in close behind UW.
