Because the architecture program at Woodbury is fairly lifting off (since the late 1980s) and has been growing since then, the program has been quite decent. The Study Abroad program is worth appreciating as well as distinct intelligent professors who generally come from an Ivy League or other distinguished schools. Despite the mass projects, it is often a time to reflect upon the importance of an architect and how architecture can often times contribute toward solving present social ills.

Woodbury's general education classes are often times lacking competitiveness, but it usually depends upon the student's willingness to rise above mediocrity and present/confront more motivating ideas with teachers and peers (an opportunity more likely to happen at woodbury because of its small class size).

While architecture studio consumes much of any students time, thoughts, and energy, there are sometimes moments that leave a student wondering why Woodbury isn't firmly known to locals (in L.A.) even if the school has been established since 1884!
