Major: Music Education (This Major's Salary over time)
The University of Tulsa provided me with an outstanding basis for my successes in my choosen profession. The faculty was extremly engaged in all aspects of providing a great education. My concern is with the continued lack of support for the Music Department be it equipment needs, appropriate staffing of faculty or the music departments ability to offer adequate financial aid to student interested in pursuing their education at TU. I feel that TU wishes to be a first class institution, and has made great strides towards acheiving this goal. This though is an area that I am familiar with, and concerned that there has not been equal emphasis placed in this area, and the department has steadily declined since my graduation in 95.
