Capital is a great institution academically, and I think is significantly underrated in the college rankings. Though tuition is expensive, they are great about giving out financial aid. The professors are top rate, many of whom are scholars but are still approachable; they do not expect you to teach yourself, so they are helpful. They are very encouraging about graduate school.
