I was preparing a degree in Computer Information Systems before entering WCU. Thanks to a friend, I decided to change my major for a CS degree. It was more challenging but also more interesting. The teachers are the greatest advantages of this university. Very concerned and helpful about your work, yet not too much so that you are not too much assisted.

I come from a very urban location and living in Western Carolina is a big change and I understand people complaining about the apparent lack of activities. But in fact, there is so much to do : hiking, biking, rafting, movie-going, the mall is not too far and there is a super Wal-Mart 5 miles away. I precise that I completed my degree there without having a car. It was tough and you need to organize well yourself but I did it !

Sincerely, I recommend this university for the quality of the education taught and for the environment.
