Major: Music Education (This Major's Salary over time)
I transferred to Hampshire from a music conservatory, because the curriculum there was focused too much on things I was not as interested in. The self-guided curriculum at Hampshire is much more agreeable. It's a good place to go for the arts, education, and psychology (and some other sciences), not as good for other things. Excessive (often unthinking) liberalism in the student body is unavoidable. I am a fairly liberal person and I find it annoying sometimes, but it's not a big deal. The food is decent, the dorms are great. There are oodles of space for hiking and wandering around in the woods, if that's your thing. And the 5-college consortium is an invaluable resource for academics and for meeting fun people. Hippies abound, but most of them smell okay.
