Absoulely terrible school…I would recommend going somewhere else if you have the chance…attending CMU has been the biggest regret of my life…if you want to go to a school in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of closeminded people then choose CMU you will love. FAculty is totally unavailable and unwilling to help. Students here go home every weekend. I think my roommate stayed up here one weekend the entire year. tLhere is absolutely nothing to do here. Lack of diversity here too. Teh schools is filled with students who werent smart enough to get into better universities. Very unfriendly students, ugly campus, horrible professors, unchallenging cousework, freezing cold winter weather, horrible parking!!, are some of the main reasons to NOT consider CMU. Hopefully some of you reading this that are considering choosing CMU will look at the negative reviews on this site and choose to do some research before you attend…visit CMU for a weekend then decided if you still want to come i wish I would have! The campus life here is also horrible. How many people really want to attend a college where we are bribed to go to the football games. When a university has to give out free rent and cars to get students to go to the games you know its bad. This university is just filled with uninteresting people nothing exicitng ever happens here. CMU sucks.
