Major: PreMed and Medical (This Major's Salary over time)
Grove City College is a great school that truly challenges students. I am a molecular biology (pre-med) major. I have spoken to numerous medical students and a few doctors who attended GCC for their undergraduate degree, and they all told me that they were fully prepared for med school after 4 years here. Although I breezed through high school with a 4.0 and 1500 SAT, I was quickly humbled here. I am thoroughly challenged, although it is not impossible to get A's if you work hard enough. I think the grading here is fair, and certainly in no ways inflated. Students have to earn their grades here (unlike many Ivy League students who earn automatic A's). The professors make themselves available to students, and my e-mails to professors during their office hours are often answered immediately. Most of the student body is friendly and approachable, although you do find a few stuck-up frat guys here and there. As a whole, I really like the other students here. It's nice to hear people talk about God in their regular conversation; the campus has great Christian values.I would highly recommend Grove City College, especially for those interested in a career in medicine.
